What is a good first car for teenager?

my parent's are probably going to pay for the car (since i got over 4.0), but ill probably pay for half. i've been looking at some bmw, but theyre far too expensive for me... and ive also been looking at the 2008 scion tc which seems somewhat better. by the way, im about to turn 15.
