I need your advice :)?

So I`m dating this guy named Devin. We have been together for a year now. I`m 17 and he`s 19 years old. Devin is a singer in his band. My parents don`t like Devin at all. They said that if Devin`s band becomes big, Devin would just forget about me. They said this a long time ago already when me and Devin just started dating. I was not even allowed to see Devin for no reason at all. But me and Devin were still able to find ways to see each other. They said that he was too much of a "bad boy". They believe in the stereotype that guys in bands are just always up to no good. Devin`s actually really nice and sweet. He even wrote a song about me. But he`s also the kind of guy who likes to party with his friends and drink alcohol. But he`s not really "bad". Me and Devin love each other a lot. And he even really makes an effort to be able to have time to hang out with me too after his band`s shows and practices. I just can`t handle keeping our relationship a secret from my parents anymore. Devin told me that he could talk to my parents if I wanted. I just don`t know how I should go about this. What should Devin even tell my parents? How do I even tell my parents that Devin wants to talk to them? Or maybe I shouldn`t even tell them right now? I need advice.
