Washed Engine Now it won't Start!?

Well I decided to detail my enigne, By the way I have a 98 Civic With a D16y8 SOHC 4 CYL, Just so you can get an idea, Well I Sprayed that Black Magic Engine shine on my engine I covered My Short ram intake filter and wrapped it in plastic, I Sprayed my engine down n i tried with less water as possible. I started it 15 min afterwards and my car sounded real crapy and muffled out. Well on the can it says to run your engine for 10 minutes, It still sounded crappy.. I checked the spark plugs and it was wet inside. So I got out as much as i could, I went ahead and replaced my wires and plugs and it wont start, It turns.. It would backfire when i tried to start it, I tried the distributor cap and it looked fine but I replaced it and still wont start.... ANY advice will help and i appreciate any input you give me
