Water leakage in dining room with an attic space above?

I found in my house, there is some sort of water leakage. It is right above my dining room chandelier, and it is a slight water drip. I put a pot underneath it to catch the water for now. I went up to the attic to investigate and can't get to that crawl space. There is no floor above this room. Its only an attic. Also, it was raining earlier today. Could it be my old roof shingles need replacement? Faulty Pipe? Any ideas? Suggestions?
