Thinking about selling my recipe to Healthfood stores. Anyone know any helpful info. about this?

I have an excellent healthy recipe for a yummy food product. I've checked into making it myself, and marketing it that way. But, there's a whole lot of red tape, money involved, legalities, etc. in doing it in this way. So, thought about just simply selling the recipe outright to some large healthfood store chains, such as WholeFoods Markets. Does anybody with a good background in Business/Marketing know anything about how to go about this? How much money would I possibly be able to make this way? I have no ets, nor the finances necessary to get a business loan. I am on Social Security Disability, too.Thanks for your help!
