Lump found on tip of gall bladder?

A lump was found on the tip of gallbladder... the surgion said he'll have to talk to the consultant about it saying they don't understand what it is!! I mean they've done ultrasounds, taken blood and mrcp, why is it so hard to tell me what it is? Could it be cancer or would they have known already if it was? Help
