Will i ever have an attractive girlfriend now im bald and messed up?

Hey im 28 yr old n have never had a girlfriend. I have high standards, have to like her as a personAND be physically attracted 2her. Im not an ugly guy, far from it! Ive been told before by alot of women im gorgeous! The thing is i had a really bad relationship with 1st love, i thought we were meant to b2gether forever n she had a totally different view which was date n sleep with as many people as you can when your young!(early20's) She was a bit of a hippy, but stunning! I didnt think id look at any1 ever again, i felt i was meant to meet her, she was dating an aquaintance. We were best mates n even tho i was nervous she would say no (i was V.fat then), i had to tell her! We hung out all the time, were always cuddling! I professed my love, she said the same, we made love(my 1st) she said she'd split with him, she never did! Then told me we are 'just mates'! I was heartbroken. Decided never to get close2 anyone again2 not b hurt! Bald now and years have past. How do i move on?
